Today I saw a sign in front of an auto repair shop that said "We fix anything. Free duct tape."
I love it. Do you suppose they offer editorial services? They did say that they fix ANYTHING, right? Just imagine how that would work:
"Let's patch up that plot hole...I need a little more tape. Stick some character growth onto the end. I need more tape! Add some witty dialogue here and here and patch up those weak spots in the beginning. Tighten up the sagging middle. Strap some conflict here and a little action here, and we'll have a real story."
I'm thinking that it could work. Why not? My daughter says that if you can't fix it with duct tape then you need more duct tape. The Mythbusters guy made a canoe out of duct tape, so why can't I make a blockbuster?
I need more tape!
