Like much of the country, we here in Colorado Springs are riding a weather roller coaster. Yesterday, May 9th, we had rain, snow, sleet and hail. Tornadoes were spotted to the east. It's rained about six inches this week. To put that in perspective, we usually average less than 20 inches of precipitation in a YEAR.
We are cold and soggy and, at six thousand feet up, are considering building our own Ark. We could float down to Kansas, maybe, and then on down the Mississippi. We'll hit the Gulf right in time for hurricane season.
Then again, maybe we'll just stay here.
