Try this at home: Get three large bowls. Fill one with hot water, one with room-temp water, and one with ice water. Put one hand in the hot water and one in the ice water. Keep them there for about 15 seconds. Then put both together in the room-temp bowl. What do you feel? It all depends on your perspective. I don't want to talk politics, but it has been fascinating and an eye-opening journey. It's all about perspective. Get three "normal," reasonably sane and intelligent people and show them the same video--and one person sees an egomaniac bully, one sees nothing to fuss about, and the third sees a patriot in action. Why is that? Why do three witnesses to the same incident tell three different stories? Why is eye-witness testimony the most believable AND the most unreliable? I guess you just have to keep it all in perspective. E- |
