Editing is Hard
Posted on Thursday, December 5, 2019 9:03 PM
In the story I'm working on now I meant to write "He was
wanted
on stage." Instead I wrote "He was
waned
on stage." And spellcheck allowed it! The sun waxes and wanes! People don't wane!
Sigh.

I agree. Editing is indeed hard. When I write a blog post, after I have written so many words and sentences, I feel lazy going back to read it to look for typos and grammar errors. I just want to upload it immediately so my job is done. But going through what I have written but I have always regretted not editing when I read my content post upload and see so many errors. Also, I read a lot of self-published novels. It feels so unprofessional finding grammar errors that could have been caught through editing.
